| Description |
|
The students of Ransom Everglades School each fall join forces with Arc, South Florida to put on a great fundraising event.
Sponsored by Publix Super Markets Charities, and benefiting Project Thrive, Arc, South Florida’s early intervention infant stimulation program for children from birth to five years with developmental disabilities.
The event is open to the public of all ages, and will take place at the Ransom Everglades School campus at
3575 Main Highway
Coconut Grove.
Registration begins at 8:30 AM and includes a $30.00 registration fee, which allows individuals to participate in as many events as they choose and compete for terrific prizes. A great free lunch will be provide by Outback Steakhouse to all participants.

The "Pledge For Kids” Swoop-A-Thon includes swimming, walking, basketball and several other activities.
Teams made up of members of Ransom Everglades School,local clubs, and business organizations, will join with individual volunteers from all walks of life -- students, community members, teachers and parents to log the most laps and score the most points. |
